NTSC Format Videos will cost more with effect from 1st September 2004 Because of the progressive strengthening of the pound against the dollar, it is regretably necessary to increase the prices for NTSC tapes (they will be numerically double the value for PAL Tapes).   D V D research has now commenced and the original idea of having up to five tapes on a single disc no longer seems a viable proposition. This is because copying at faster speeds giving effectively Long Play, extra Long Play, ultra Long Play and Extended Play (my terms) causes degradation in quality, as a result of previous transfer from analogue sources to digital. Menus, allowing access to later sequences will be introduced, but multiple tapes on a disc would require fiddling technical problems in attempting an overall menu, which is another reason to stick to single-tape discs. It also makes it much simpler to produce single copies and as an alternative to placing more than one tape on a disc it will be possible to place two or three discs in a single jewel-case (the standard size of a CD case and single copies in a slimline jewel-case which will have the advantage of saving storage space for serious collectors. The prices proposed being modified as follows:              £25  ($50)  for  one  tape                £45  ($90)  for  two  tapes                    £60  ($120)  for  three  tapes              DVD format for the videos is still a minor problem, previously debated on the DVD Page.   Two 'Review' Pages have been set up with a synopsis of the contents of the latest six General Series releases. This can be accessed from the Videos Page or directly from here. Earlier reviews may be deleted because of space. Also, the Alphabetical List of Models featured in the Videos (available via the VIDEOS Menu), has now been enhanced so that the Tape References in the lists may be clicked to see the appropriate colour print, if this is available. This should speed up your ability to locate the tapes which include your favourite models.   CHANGES In addition to the old SAMPLE TAPE ($15), which is just over half an hour long and features a dozen girls from the first 50 or so tapes released, I have just discovered a Preview Tape I made up for an English photographer who knew of my videos and wanted to show to potential customers when he visited the States several years ago. It is just over two hours long and has 10 minute excepts from each of the first 12 General Series tapes. This will be $25. As with the Sample Tape, although techniques have improved during the intervening years, these excepts would give newcomers an example of the style of the Video Series before investing in a collection of tapes !   Picture Enhancement Later Members' Pages that have been added have been enhanced in order to improve on the standard video capture quality normally in terms of Brightness/Contrast and colour 'bleeding'. If time permits some of the earlier pages will also be inproved. After enhancement,I have been using a final compression technique which effectively reduces the image to a little under half its original capacity. This enables me to DOUBLE THE CONTENTS of the Site! You can compare two recent examples of this by going to the Compare Page and considering the 'before' and 'after' aspects of the pictures. This site is intended for Knicker Fanatics (or Panty Perverts as one Member expressed it) where content is more important than an obsession with picture quality.     Animations A couple of Members asked for animated pictures, so a page has been added containing (at the moment) four of these. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY TAKE 20 PICTURES EACH (30 FOR MARTINA HINGIS) AND ARE TIME-CONSUMING TO PRODUCE. Also, even though small, they take time to download and it is difficult to set a sensible 'frame-interval' because Internet times vary and the images are possibly affected when more than one appears on the same page.
